[ARCHIVED] Pipeline Explosion

We have received word of a pipeline explosion near Milford. No injuries have been reported at this time. It appears to be a 10 inch blown gas main. Chevron representatives are on the site, monitoring the situation with the Ellis County Fire Marshall’s Office, and various law enforcement entitites. A one mile area is being evacuated around the fire. Students from the Milford ISD were transferred to the nearby Italy ISD as a precaution.
