   Hello Everyone, I grew up on a dairy farm in a small town fifty years ago, so it a wonderful feeling to find a town like Milford. I know that streetlamps are very expensive for the municipality. I suggest a phased (section by section) switch-over to LED lights, I am not sure of the process that entails, but having been in the US Army for 28 years (retired as a Special Forces Warrant Officer in 2015) I had to usually get pricing/appraisals from three separate vendors. I would suggest starting the replacement to LED streetlights in the rural areas first, which would reduce the cost for the smallest towns first (if the correlation between small towns being rural is accurate). The added benefit, beyond the cost, is that the citizens can avoid added vehicle expenses by seeing the potholes.
