[ARCHIVED] County Receives Flag Donation for the Ellis County Courts Building

Ellis County received a flag donation for display at the new Ellis County Courts building Wednesday, July 3rd. The flag donated by Steve Chapman, will be displayed in the main atrium of the facility.
Ellis County Judge Bush expressed her gratitude for the donation, "The Chapman family has a long history of community involement and service. A few months ago, Steve Chapman stopped by my office and offered the County a beautiful and patriotic piece of history, a 48-star flag. The unique gift, which was given in honor of his father, Mr. Richard F. Chapman, was fittingly received from Steve and Judge Jim Chapman on July 3, 2013 in anticipation and celebration of Independence Day. We display it proudly in the Courts Administration Building."
