[ARCHIVED] DA’s Office wins charity bowling challenge.

Thank you so much for your continued support of Big Brothers Big Sisters. It was a pleasure to meet all the team captains and bowlers on Saturday. We had an amazing time bowling for KIDS’ SAKE – raising over $18,000 for the children of Ellis County. I’ll have team photos ready to deliver/mail in about 10 days.

As the only fundraiser for BBBS in Ellis County, every dollar we raise stays in this community and keeps children matched to a caring-adult mentor or makes a NEW match.

Special thanks to those who weren’t able to bowl but raised support “just because” – Board Member Earle Jones, Shackelford Elementary School in Waxahachie, Dart Container Corp, Melissa Cobb of WISD, Waxahachie Superintendent Tom Collins, Northwood Univ. Provost and Board Member Dr. Kevin Fegan, Audrey Adams of Northwood Univ., Waxahachie Fire Chief David Hudgins and Central Presbyterian Church of Waxahachie

Also, because of our awesome sponsors who underwrote the bowling event, 100% of every dollar raised by bowlers will go directly toward services and events for the kids. Sponsors include
